Born and raised in Grand
Rapids, MI, Mark Salhaney received his D.D.S. degree from the
University of Michigan (Go Blue!) in 1983, where he was recognized
for his proficiency in dental anesthesiology. Since 1984 he has
practiced in the Forest Hills area of Grand Rapids, steadily
growing his office to it's present staff of nine.
To keep abreast of the latest dental techniques, he has received
advanced training in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, endodontics,
orthodontics and laser discipline of dentistry. He used his
professional expertise to benefit his community outside his
practice. He has
volunteered his services at Kent Community Hospital, Clinical
Santa Maria, Baxter Community Center, the Children's Dental
Van and Children's Dental Health Month expos.
Dr. Salhaney has served on the Board of Directors of the
West Michigan Foundation. He has chaired or served on numerous
committees
for the West Michigan District Dental Association and was
also a member of the Public Relations Committee. Dr. Salhaney
enjoys
golfing, swimming, hiking and biking and attending many
of Grand Rapids cultural events. He has one son, Marek, whom
he hopes
will one day join him in the practice. |
