Meet The Doctor

Mark L. Salhaney, D.D.S.

 
Dr. Mark Salhaney was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Salhaney received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan in 1983, where he was recognized for his proficiency in dental anesthesiology. He has been practicing in the Forest Hills area of Grand Rapids since 1984.

To keep abreast of the latest dental techniques, he has received advanced training in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and laser discipline of dentistry. He has used his professional expertise to benefit his community outside his practice. He has volunteered his services at Kent Community Hospital, Clinical Santa Maria, Baxter Community Center, the Children's Dental Van and Children's Dental Health Month expos.

Dr. Salhaney has served on the Board of Directors of the West Michigan Foundation as well as the Peer Board of Ethics for the Michigan Dental Association. He has chaired or served on numerous committees for the West Michigan District Dental Association and was also a member of the Public Relations Committee. Dr. Salhaney enjoys golfing, swimming, hiking and biking and attending many of Grand Rapids cultural events. He has a daughter and two sons, the eldest of which has just begun to follow in Mark's footsteps at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
